Hello Bloggers!
I know I haven’t checked in at all this week… I’m sorry! A LOT is going on right now, and I’ve decided not to have Office Hours until Monday, June 16th. So, those of you waiting for proofs, a return phone call, etc. will be contacted then. I’m sorry for the short notice.
This week my grandfather has been very sick. His lymphoma of the abdomen has spread to his brain stem. Things are really crazy, because the pressure on his brain has caused all sorts of problems for him. He could use prayers, and a lot of them. So if you could please take a moment today to pray for my Pap Pap, I would appreciate it. He is in the hospital, and I’ve been going there every chance I get to help out or relieve whatever relative is ‘on duty’ at the time. I feel that this is where I need to be spending my time right now, so I appreciate the support and understanding. Please remember John Lorence, Sr. in your prayers.
Tomorrow I wake up at the crack of dawn to fly to Augusta, GA to attend and celebrate the graduation of my brother, Dr. J. Matthew Valosen, from his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Ft. Gordon. I am so proud of my brother and so excited for him that the ‘end’ is near. Of course, this is really going to be a whole new beginning for him, as his family has just moved to Savannah, GA to complete his Army responsibilities. I’m so thrilled with all that he’s accomplished, and have nothing but admiration and respect for him. He has worked so hard for so many years, and he deserves everything great and wonderful to happen for him. I have attended all of his graduations so far… high school, college, medical school, Medical Internship, and now the completion of his residency. (wow, that’s a LOT of Pomp and Circumstance!) So, Congratulations Matt!!! I love you!!
I also have some big PBN news!!! Guess who got a studio?!?!!! I signed the lease this week on a small space in Houston, PA, which will be more of a ’shooting space’ than a studio. It won’t have an office or regular hours, I’ll still be keeping my home office, but no longer will I have to rent the Clubhouse or put my equipment up and down a zillion times a month! Also, I’ll have a storage area at the new location, so I’ll be able to get all of my photography stuff out of the house!! Woo hooo! This will only be a temporary spot, I’m hoping that I”ll be able to handle much more business now, so hopefully by this time next year, I’ll be looking for a full time studio!!!

Well, I’ll be popping in at the beginning of next week to give you some Sneak Peeks of a very exciting maternity I’m photographing this evening, as well as some from a 50th Anniversary party I’ll be shooting over the weekend! Take care, and thank you for your prayers!
