Playing Catch-Up September 11, 2009

I have lots to catch up on for this Blog!  With my website transfer in the works, I never know when the whole thing will just shut down, so I’ve been hesitant to put anything on the Blog!  But here are some pics of recent sessions that I’d like to share with you all!

Back in the Saddle again! August 25, 2009

I’m back in the studio after a long hiatus while I visited my brother after he returned from Iraq.  First, I’d like to thank all of you for your prayers, well-wishes, and genuine concern over the last several months of his deployment.  I’m happy to tell you that he arrived home safe and sound, and was honored with the Bronze Star for his amazing work as an Orthopedic Surgeon at Ibn Sina Hospital in Baghdad.  His wife Cindy and daughters Kylie and Gracie couldn’t have been happier to see him.  We enjoyed a week at his house after his arrival, went to the beach, and just enjoyed being together.

 

Studio News:  My normal business hours will resume next week when the kids go back to school (*happy dance*).  So I will be available again on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Studio from 9:00-3:00.  I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things!

Rick + Suzanna August 17, 2009

Rick and Suzanna had the most beautiful wedding on August 8th!  I enjoyed photographing this couple so much and they had the most gorgeous and beautiful day!  I’m going to try a new form of “Wedding Sneak Peeks” in the form of a slideshow.  I sure hope it works!

As a native of Greene County, I continue to celebrate Rain Day and even left the house this morning without my umbrella and let the glorious rain fall upon me!   And because it rained this morning, it has now rained in Waynesburg, PA on July 29th 111 out of the last 135 years!!!  See?  Now THAT is worth celebrating!  So, grab your rain slickers and boots and go out and enjoy the rain today!

Baby Plan Announcement July 27, 2009

Decklan came in for his 6 month Baby Plan session!  He got so much bigger, and with that hair of his he just looks like a tiny man.  I love it!  Decklan is going to be a mover… those little legs of his just never stop going.  (I fear for any Baby Gate that gets in his way!)  Here’s a Sneak Peek of Mr Decklan:

 

 

And speaking of the Baby Plan, I have a bit of an announcment regarding the plan.  With so much changing here at PBN, we’ve changed the name of the baby plan to…

Brooklynn & Braedon July 27, 2009

My wonderful customer Keara brought her sweeties into the studio last week for some shots.  I’ve been photographing Braedon since he was 4 weeks old, and this was the second time I got to photograph his little sister Brooklynn!  What a sweetie bug!  Brooklynn is all smiles, and was really patient while Keara and I went nuts putting her in different outfits.  I just LOVE when parents come in and say “Let’s do whatever”.  It makes my creative day! So Keara was open to anything, and we pretty much did everything!  I have so many plans for Brooklynn– I can hardly wait until she can sit up on her own!  Anyway, here is the Sneak Peek that Keara has been anxiously awaiting:

Meet Molly!!  This teeny little sweetie came in to the studio last week and brought her Mommy and Daddy with her!  Molly is super precious, and I really enjoyed working with her.  A special thanks to the Pasquini family for the great referral…. this makes threefree 8×10’s for the Pasquini family through the Referral Program!!  So I would like to welcome the McGovern’s to the Portraits by Natalie family-  we are looking forward to growing with you!  Here’s a little Sneak Peek from the session:

Times, they are a-changin’! July 24, 2009

Whew… what a week!  I have a whole bunch of Sneak Peeks to get up from all of the sweeties that came through the PBN doors this week.  You will see those up soon! 

Things are changing here at PBN, most notably the website.  I’m FINALLY getting a new site!  This transition will take place within the next week (if all goes smoothly)  Some of you have already been using my new online ordering system (woo hoo!) and that went off without a hitch, so I’m hoping that the full switchover will go just as smoothly. 

 

In the meantime, if you come to my site and it is blank, or looking like a ghost town, don’t worry!  I’ll be back soon! I’m hoping that the new site will be more informative and user-friendly than the current site!  Hope everyone has a nice weekend!  Keep smiling!

Sweetness times three! July 17, 2009

The Depsky girls came in for a session this morning!!  You will remember older sister Payton from the Baby Plan…. remember that sweet blue eyed baby with the red hair?  Those of you who have come into the studio and looked at the sample Brag Books will remember her as the cute baby in the Kentucky Fried Chicken costume!!  Payton is a Big Girl now, and brought her twin baby sisters, Hayden and Zoey in for some pictures!  I couldn’t wait to proof a few of these for Sneak Peeks before running off to work on the new website (more on that to come!)  Here are the beautiful Depsky girls:

All in the Family July 6, 2009

I was so honored tonight to photograph a ‘family reunion’ of sorts.  Leslie contacted me to do some photos of her family as a gift to her mom for her birthday.  Leslie didn’t tell her mom, though, that she was also flying her mom’s sisters in for the occasion!  And with one in Atlanta, and one in Portland, Oregon, I’m sure that wasn’t an easy task!  They were a wonderful family to work with and I hope June had a wonderful birthday!!  Thank you to the Pasquini family for the great referral!
